Touchless Efficiency with
PULSE Coding Automation Technology™

A hospital was inundated with processing +/- 7,000 ER charts monthly. They sought an intelligent solution to improve medical coding efficiency and reduce the workload on their three full-time coding staff. After carefully considering several other platforms, the hospital implemented PULSE Coding Automation Technology™.

We initiated the project by setting up a baseline of operations with the hospital and then implemented the direct-to-bill coding functionality of PULSE. With this strategic and coordinated approach, 14% of ER charts were finalized without human intervention within the first 30 days post-implementation. This increased to 28% after 60 days and surpassed 50% by 90 days, all while maintaining an impressive accuracy rate of 97%+.

As we continue collaborating with the hospital, they are making significant progress towards a fully touchless medical coding operation with PULSE. Our collaborative and strategic implementation, combined with our unwavering commitment to innovation, ensures that the hospital will continue to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the hospital’s medical coding processes.
