CorroHealth CEO Pat Leonard Featured in Authority Magazine, Sharing Leadership Lessons and Company Vision

CorroHealth plays a unique and significant role as an organization in making healthcare delivery more efficient and cost effective. That’s especially important today, with so much focus on driving efficiency across healthcare.

CorroHealth CEO Pat Leonard recently interviewed with Authority Magazine for their series, “5 Things I Wish Someone Told Me Before I Became a CEO.” In the interview, Leonard reflects on his leadership journey and the lessons learned that shaped his approach at the helm of leading a healthcare technology and revenue cycle management company.

Leonard began his career as a CPA, gaining a solid foundation in business and finance before realizing he wanted to make a deeper impact. After exploring various industries and earning his MBA, he discovered healthcare—a field where he could connect purpose with performance. His path led him through leadership roles in healthcare operations and private equity before helping to form CorroHealth. “All fingers pointed at me when the question came up about who should run the business,” Leonard shared with Authority Magazine. “It was a mix of being in the right place at the right time and a bit of luck.”

At CorroHealth, Leonard emphasizes culture as the cornerstone of success. His leadership playbook centers on adaptability, sincerity, fun, and celebrating success. As the company continues to grow through acquisition and innovation, he focuses on blending the strength of each organization and their respective team members, as well as recognizing achievements along the way.

Leonard also shared five key lessons learned as a CEO, including:

  • Managing up is just as important as managing down
  • The pressure never really lets up
  • Lead by doing, not just by deciding
  • Trust is your most powerful tool
  • It’s OK to be vulnerable

With this mindset, Leonard continues to guide CorroHealth’s mission to empower healthcare organizations through automation, data-driven analytics, and clinically led expertise.
